About Ken Hurst

Ken Hurst Photography captured my interest during my college years when I was given a Kodak Retina Reflex IV camera with a broken light meter unfortunately. Or maybe it was fortunate since it forced to me learn more about light and exposure and not to rely on anything automatic on the camera. It seems like that was the spark that started my personal need to capture and create images and a lifelong passion for photography.

My name is Ken Hurst and I'm a photographer formerly based in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, currently living in southwest Virginia, and soon to be located in Tennessee. I specialize in landscape, nature, lifestyle, and travel photography and I am available for travel worldwide.
